About the role

You oversee the team in the implementation of MINDEF's defence technology security policies so as to safeguard Singapore's defence and security interests.

 

What you will be working on

  • Implement MINDEF's defence technology security policies
  • Collaborate and interact with internal and external agencies
  • Carry out technical assessments of defence equipment and technologies related to non-proliferation and export controls
  • Conduct analytical studies related to defence technology security
  • Examine defence systems and technologies to assess the impact of their transfers

 

Challenge(s)

  • Staying updated on rapidly evolving strategic issues and current affairs related to export control and non-proliferation

 

What we are looking for

  • Education in a Technical or Scientific field
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience and knowledge in defence-related work and/or export control [e.g. Singapore Strategic Goods (Control) Act] is advantageous
  • Good communication and writing skills
