You are part of a highly motivated team of cybersecurity professionals to manage cyber defence within the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN). You work with various stakeholders to develop cyber defence operational plans (eg. cyber incident management, systems triages, BCP) and training roadmap to level up RSN cyber-related competencies using your cybersecurity experiences and knowledge. To ensure RSN's system readiness, you work with the various operations and maintenance agencies for vulnerabilities and anti-malware management. You also manage of team of NSFs and NSmen to conduct cyber health checks on RSN systems.
You must have a tertiary qualification, with at least 8 years' relevant experience in managing Information Technology or cyber systems of which, at least 3 years' relevant experience in cybersecurity industry (eg. You assist in the development, execution and review of training policies, plans and standards. On this, you ensure that Cybersecurity Task Force (CSTF) personnel meet and sustain the competency requirements. In addition, you establish the training requirements and roadmaps to ensure that CSTF personnel are sufficiently trained to execute their tasks.

You review and advise on the designs of the Security Operation Centre (SOC)'s infrastructure, determining the placement and coverage of intrusion detections, endpoint hardening agents within the host and network environment. On this, you create customised security event detection rules and configure rulesets to implement and manage within the SOC to enhance operational effectiveness. You hold a concurrent appointment as a Deputy Head within the SOC, providing oversight of daily operations involving threat detection and incident management. As a Deputy Head SOC, you supervise the SOC's training and development activities, establishing and maintaining operational procedures, guidelines and knowledge management. You interact with various vendors and system managers within the SAF for discussion and coordination of SOC's system integration, project trials and system enhancement.
Your challenge lies in striking the right balance between leadership and technical skills while also possessing the technical acumen to guide SOC operations. You also have to manage resources which encompasses staffing needs and the integration of complex SOC tools and systems. In addition, you have to rapidly respond to cyber incidents while maintaining composure and leading the team effectively during crisis situations. You are also required to rotate with Hd SOC for 24/7 monitoring duties.
You must have a tertiary qualification in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent discipline, with at least 5 to 8 years' working experience in cybersecurity roles, including at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role within a SOC or Cyber Emergency Response Team. You should have the necessary technological knowledge and experience in threat detection, incident response and security tool management. Certification in GIAC Security Operations Certified (GSOC), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and/or Certified Information System Manager (CISM) is preferred. You must also be proficient in security operations centre tools such as Security Information and Event Management, Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System, and Endpoint Detection and Response. On this, you conduct investigations on security alerts that occur within the network system to identify any network risks. You also analyse and evaluate the operational impact and remediation actions for cybersecurity-related incidents that have been triaged. On this, you will be working with our product teams to ensure that our digital products are user-centric, intuitive and credible. You will facilitate product visions and translate requirements to user flows, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes for an intuitive user experience. You will oversee the quality of the design solutions, identify design problems and devise suitable solutions. You will facilitate conversations to help product owners to clarify their intent and make strategic design and user-experience decisions for the centre.
You must have a tertiary qualification, with at least 2 years' experience in UI/UX Design and have a good understanding of the fundamentals of user-centric design. You must have a keen interest in digital technology and be able to clearly communicate and explain design decisions/trade-offs to stakeholders.
