About the role
You assist Head Materials Planning Branch (Hd MPB) in developing concepts, plans and policies for Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF)'s material supply support operations.

 

What you will be working on

  • Ensure proper management and accounting of assets and resources
  • Drive business process review and continuous improvement for Supply Chain Management process
  • Lead development and review of RSAF's freight support strategy
  • Ensure that robust operations doctrines are in place
  • Drive development and review of finance policies and processes to achieve resource efficiency

 

Challenge(s)

  • Possessing in-depth knowledge of the end-to-end supply chain processes
  • Recommending new initiatives to improve the supply chain system
  • Keeping abreast of the commercial/military aviation industries' best practices and IT technology and studying the applicability of such practices to RSAF supply chain
  • Working independently under pressure with tight deadlines

 

What we are looking for

  • Education in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field
  • At least 8 years of working experience in the relevant field
  • Good strategic thinking, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Meticulous and able to multi-task
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office applications (adept in MS Word and Excel)
  • Knowledge in using SAP will be preferred
