Chief of Navy RADM Sean Wat's Introductory Visit to Malaysia

25 Jan 24

Our Chief of Navy, Rear Admiral (RADM) Sean Wat was in Malaysia earlier this week for an Introductory Visit.

During his visit, he met the Chief of the Royal Malaysian Navy, Admiral Tan Sri Abdul Rahman bin Ayob, and inspected a Guard-of-Honour contingent at the Ministry of Defence in Kuala Lumpur.

RADM Wat also met with the Malaysian Minister of Defence, YB Dato Seri Mohamed Khaled bin Nordin (top photo) and Deputy Director-General (Logistics) of the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency, Vice Admiral (Maritime) Datuk Saiful Lizan bin Ibrahim (bottom photo).

Our Master Chief Navy ME6 Richard Goh (right) also met with Warrant Officer Royal Malaysian Navy, WO 1 ETP (AQM) Mohamad Noorfazli bin Ariffin (left) on the sidelines of the visit. They discussed plans to organise the upcoming inaugural bilateral Enlisted Officers' Interaction Programme (EOIP) which will further strengthen relations between both Navies across the ranks.

This visit underscores the strong ties between both our Navies and reaffirms the warm and long-standing bilateral relationship between our militaries.
