Chief of Staff - Naval Staff RADM Edwin Leong was in Jakarta, Indonesia this week for the 9th Indo Defence 2022 Expo and Forum.

Held since 2004, the event is a biennial tri-service defence technology exhibition which also provides a valuable opportunity for members from the attending militaries to meet their counterparts.

During his visit to Jakarta, RADM Leong also met with Head Indonesian Maritime Security Agency (KABAKAMLA) VADM Aan Kurnia.

During his visit to Jakarta, RADM Leong also met with Head Indonesian Maritime Security Agency (KABAKAMLA) VADM Aan Kurnia where both leaders reaffirmed the warm and friendly ties between the Republic of Singapore Navy and the Indonesian Maritime Security Agency (BAKAMLA).

The RSN's attendance at the 9th Indo Defence 2022 Expo and Forum underscores the close and long-standing defence relations between Singapore and Indonesia.
