The Commendation Medal and Commendation Medal (Military) are awarded to public officers or members of the SAF who have distinguished themselves through commendable performance and conduct, significant efficiency, competence and devotion to duty.
 
Efficiency Medal/Efficiency Medal (Military)
The Efficiency Medal and Efficiency Medal (Military) are awarded to public officers or members of the SAF who have demonstrated exceptional efficiency, outstanding devotion to duty and performed work of special significance.
 
Long Service Medal
Long Service Medals are awarded to public officers or members of the SAF who have completed 25 years of continuous public service and possess irreproachable conduct.
