Written Reply by Minister for Defence Chan Chun Sing to Parliamentary Question on Assignment of NSF Vocations and EEDs on 5 Aug 2026

The Enhanced Expertise Deployment Scheme (EEDS) serves a different purpose. It allows suitable NSmen to be considered for redeployment when they acquire specialised civilian expertise after Full-Time National Service that meets a specific SAF need.
