Fact Sheet: The TD Challenge

The TD Challenge on 15 February 2013 began at the Singapore Discovery Centre and ended at Republic Polytechnic, where the Total Defence Day Commemoration Event was held. A key component of this year's Total Defence campaign, the TD Challenge aims to encourage teamwork amongst group members and bring out the campaign theme that when Singaporeans work together as one, we can overcome any challenges that may come our way.

There were 26 teams, each comprising SAF personnel, students, active ager and person with disabilities. They were informed of the route, with the various checkpoints, on the day itself.

The teams performed different tasks at eight key checkpoints, and were awarded points for the completion of each task.
