CITATION
Ms Lye Wai Har, Director (Software Engineering) and Distinguished Member of Technical Staff from DSO National Laboratories, has contributed significantly to the build-up of software capability in defence. She was the Chief Software Engineer that led the development of robust and complex software system solutions for guided systems. She also led the development and implementation of various software quality processes and engineering standards as well as software techniques and tools. Wai Har is also instrumental in the build-up of software expertise in DSO and software safety competency in the Ministry of Defence and the Singapore Armed Forces. In recognition of her outstanding achievements and contributions, Ms Lye is awarded the DTP 2019 Individual (Engineering) Award.
