MINDEF apologises for administrative error

We refer to Mdm Lin Mei Mei's letter on 30 Aug 2013, "Why did MINDEF Err?"

Central Manpower Base had mistakenly booked an appointment for Mdm Lin's son with the cardiac instead of the orthopaedic department. We sincerely apologise for the error and regret the inconveniences caused to her and her family. We have rectified the appointment and would like to assure her that MINDEF will bear the costs for these consultations.

We thank Mdm Lin for her patience and understanding in this matter.
