The RSAF Black Knights to Perform at Singapore Airshow 2014

The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) Black Knights aerobatics team will be performing at the Singapore Airshow 2014.

The Black Knights will feature six F-16C Fighting Falcons from the RSAF. The F-16C Fighting Falcon is one of the most sophisticated and advanced multi-role fighter aircraft in the world today. The team will thrill spectators with their precise manoeuvres, tight formations and excellent teamwork.

For Singapore Airshow 2014, the Black Knights aircraft will be painted in a new paint scheme. The aircraft will retain the traditional red and white colours and incorporate our national symbols of the crescent moon and five stars.

At the Black Knights Unveiling Ceremony held at Tengah Air Base earlier today, Chief of Air Force, Major-General Hoo Cher Mou said, "The Black Knights' precision, tight formations, skilful and spectacular manoeuvres are a source of great pride for a small nation like ours. The team has always thrilled spectators with its breath-taking performances. I am confident that the Black Knights will continue with this tradition and do the RSAF proud."

The team will be preparing for the Singapore Airshow 2014 from July onwards and training is expected to intensify nearer the event. The Singapore Airshow will be held from 11 to 16 February 2014.
