Since the implementation of the SkillsFuture@National Service Learning eXperience Platform (SF@NS LXP), 89% of all NSFs have registered for a SF@NS LXP account. 53% of all NSFs have started on at least one course on the platform, and 51% of all NSFs have completed at least one course.
The SkillsFuture@National Service Learning eXperience Platform (SF@NS LXP) provides full-time national servicemen (NSFs) with unlimited access to over 50,000 online courses, resources from government agencies, industry partners and Education Institutions, and a job and course portal.
The platform is offered to all NSFs upon enlistment, as part of the Ministry of Defence’s (MINDEF’s) and the Ministry of Home Affairs’ (MHA’s) efforts to recognise NSFs’ contributions and facilitate their transition to employment and further studies after full-time NS. SF@NS LXP accounts are valid for two years upon activation.
As NSFs have military training and duties, the platform is intended for their self-directed learning and development. Most NSFs tap on the SF@NS LXP in their second year of NS, to support their post-Operationally Ready Date (ORD) plans.
Since its implementation in November 2022, 89% of all NSFs have registered for a SF@NS LXP account. 53% of all NSFs have started on at least one course on the platform, and 51% of all NSFs have completed at least one course.
MINDEF and MHA continue to work closely with our partners to encourage more NSFs to maximise opportunities provided by the SF@NS LXP, and curate course content to better align with NSFs’ interests.
