Minister for Defence Reaffirms Strong Defence Ties with Counterparts at 21st Shangri-La Dialogue

Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen met his counterparts on the sidelines of the 21st Shangri-La Dialogue (SLD) today.
During the call with Thailand Minister of Defence Dr Sutin Klungsang, both Ministers reaffirmed the strong bilateral ties shared by Singapore and Thailand, and discussed ways to deepen defence cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Minister also met with a United States (US) Congressional Delegation led by House Foreign Affairs Committee Chair, Representative Michael McCaul (R-Texas). The congressional delegation also included Representative Gregory Meeks (D-New York), Representative Young Oak Kim (R-California), Representative Joe Wilson (R-South Carolina), and Representative Joseph Courtney (D-Connecticut).
