Timor-Leste President José Ramos-Horta is in Singapore to attend the 22nd Shangri-La Dialogue (SLD). Minister for Defence Mr Chan Chun Sing called on President Ramos-Horta on the sidelines of the SLD this afternoon.

During the meeting, Mr Chan and President Ramos-Horta reaffirmed the warm and friendly bilateral defence relationship between Singapore and Timor-Leste. They exchanged views on regional security developments and ways to enhance bilateral defence cooperation.
