Philippines Secretary of National Defense Gilberto Teodoro Jr is in Singapore to attend the 22nd Shangri-La Dialogue (SLD). Secretary Teodoro called on Minister for Defence Mr Chan Chun Sing this afternoon at the Shangri-La Hotel.

During the meeting, both Ministers reaffirmed the warm and friendly bilateral defence ties between Singapore and the Philippines and expressed commitment to continue cooperation on the ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting (ADMM) and ADMM-Plus fora. They also discussed avenues to further defence cooperation.
