Reply to ST's Query on the Replacement of Light Utility Vehicles

The Singapore Armed Forces has commenced the acquisition process for about 1,300 light utility vehicles, used for training and operations, to replace the aging fleet of Land Rover Defenders and Mercedes Benz 240GDs, both of which have been in service for more than 30 years.

The new light utility vehicles are expected to be delivered from 2022.
