The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) holds its service personnel to high standards of discipline and integrity. Service personnel who commit offences will be dealt with in accordance with the law.

1SG N M Pranesh was convicted of offences committed before his enlistment. He had been suspended from all duties following his arrest in 2025.

Following his conviction and sentencing, the SAF will initiate further action against him, which may include discharging him from service.
