SAF to Provide Humanitarian Assistance to Philippines in Aftermath of Tropical Storm Kristine

The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) C-130 aircraft departing Paya Lebar Air Base to provide airlift support in the Philippines.
The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) will deploy one Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) C-130 transport aircraft at the request of the Philippines Government to aid in humanitarian efforts. The RSAF C-130 aircraft will be deployed to the Philippines to support the Philippines Government in providing airlift support to deliver humanitarian aid supplies to communities affected by Tropical Storm Kristine (international name: Trami).
The SAF’s contributions underscore the warm and friendly bilateral and defence ties and close Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) cooperation between Singapore and the Philippines.
