Media Reply to AFP Fact Check on Circulation of Footage of a "Philippine-Made Vessel"

MINDEF is aware of an online video footage that shows a computer-generated image (CGI) of a warship. The video claims that the warship is a "Philippine-made vessel for the Philippine Navy".
The illustration and design of the warship appears to be taken from a video that was issued by the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN). The video that the RSN issued showcased the Multi-Role Combat Vessel (MRCV), which is jointly designed by Singapore's Defence Science and Technology Agency and Sweden's Saab Kockums for the RSN.
