In 2019, the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) worked with the National Parks Board to install aerial canopy linkages between the mentioned SAF training area and the Central Catchment Nature Reserve. This enables the Raffles' banded langurs and other arboreal animals to move across forest habitats safely.
