The Singapore Police Force has completed their investigations and in consultation with the Attorney-General's Chambers, will be charging Captain (CPT) Ong Lin Jie, in relation to the death of Full-time National Serviceman, Corporal First Class Liu Kai.

CPT Ong has been suspended from service pending the outcome of the court proceedings.

MINDEF is conducting its own internal investigation to determine if there have been breaches of military law by other individuals.
