The SAF Adjusts Activities As Haze Exceeds Unhealthy Range

24-hour Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) levels are currently hovering in the "Very Unhealthy" range.
The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) has adjusted physical and outdoor activities in accordance with our PSI-Activity Guidelines to limit servicemen’s exposure to the haze. Should the 24-hour PSI level enter the "Hazardous" range (over 300 PSI), the SAF will cancel or move activities such as physical training indoors, and servicemen will don N95 masks when performing essential outdoor duties.
The health and safety of our servicemen are of paramount importance, and we will continue to closely monitor air quality in Singapore and respond accordingly. The SAF remains ready to safeguard Singapore's peace and security.
