The revamped NS Excellence Award (NSEA) and Celebratory Gifts (CG) website was launched on 15 December 2017. This is part of the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF)'s continual effort to better recognise the contributions of our Operationally Ready National Servicemen (NSmen).

The revamped website now allows NSmen to combine their NSEA and CG credits to redeem gifts of higher value. The credits for the NSEA and CG were previously separate and could not be combined. Additionally, NSmen can now select from a wider range of gifts available in the online catalogue.

The redemption websites for the NSEA and CG were previously taken offline on 15 June 2017 for enhancement of the websites' features and user interface as well as for technical maintenance. As part of MINDEF's emphasis on cybersecurity, the website was also tested rigorously during this period to ensure the strength of the system's defences.
