Minister for Defence to Attend ADMM Retreat and 9th ADMM-Plus in Cambodia

Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen will be in Siem Reap, Cambodia, from 21 to 24 Nov 2022.

Dr Ng will attend the ASEAN Defence Ministers' Meeting (ADMM) Retreat on 22 Nov 2022 and the 9th ADMM-Plus[1] on 23 Nov 2022. He will also attend the ASEAN-US Defence Ministers' Informal Meeting and the ASEAN-India Defence Ministers' Informal Meeting, which will be held on the sidelines of the ADMM Retreat and ADMM-Plus. As part of the programme, Dr Ng and the other ADMM-Plus Defence Ministers will jointly call on Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen.

Dr Ng will be accompanied by Permanent Secretary for Defence Mr Chan Heng Kee and other MINDEF officials.

[1] ADMM-Plus comprises the 10 ASEAN Member States and its eight Plus partners, namely Australia, China, India, Japan, New Zealand, the Republic of Korea, Russia, and the United States.
