Minister for Defence to attend the 11th ADMM and 4th ADMM-Plus

Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen will be in Clark, Philippines, from 22 to 24 October 2017.
On 23 October, Dr Ng will be attending the 11th ASEAN Defence Ministers' Meeting (ADMM), and a special ADMM meeting on countering violent extremism, radicalisation, and terrorism. He will also attend three informal meetings -- the ASEAN-China Defence Ministers' Informal Meeting, the ASEAN-Japan Defence Ministers' Informal Meeting, and the ASEAN-US Defence Ministers' Informal Meeting.
On 24 October, Dr Ng will participate in the ADMM Chairmanship handover ceremony where Singapore will officially take over as the ADMM and ADMM-Plus Chair from the Philippines. Dr Ng will also be attending the 4th ADMM-Plus.
Dr Ng is accompanied by Permanent Secretary for Defence Mr Chan Yeng Kit and other MINDEF/SAF officials.
