Singapore Armed Forces Vehicle Involved in Road Traffic Incident

On 11 January 2016, a Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) vehicle with a Foldable Longspan Bridge was involved in a road traffic incident with an SMRT bus along Mandai Avenue. Safety is the top priority for Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and the SAF. Military vehicles follow the Land Transport Authority's guidelines on public roads and travel on routes approved by the authorities. MINDEF and the SAF take a serious view of public road safety and are currently investigating the incident.
