In response to media queries on SAF's efforts in recruitment of servicewomen, the following reply was issued:
"The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) seeks to bring in good, capable women to serve in the military. We are committed to supporting our servicewomen's life-cycle needs, and to provide them with a fulfilling profession. We look forward to their continued contributions to Singapore's defence"
