The Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) Brigadier General (BG) (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Wardi bin Haji Abdul Latip, called on Second Minister for Defence Mr Lui Tuck Yew at the Ministry of Transport this morning. BG (U) Wardi, who is in Singapore for his farewell visit from 7 to 9 September 2015, had earlier called on Chief of Defence Force Major-General Perry Lim and Chief of Air Force Major-General Hoo Cher Mou, after inspecting a Guard of Honour at the Ministry of Defence.
BG (U) Wardi's visit underscores the close and long-standing defence relations between Singapore and Brunei. The Republic of Singapore Air Force and the RBAirF interact regularly through professional exchanges as well as the annual bilateral exercise, Exercise Air Guard. These interactions have strengthened the mutual understanding and friendship between personnel of the two air forces.
