In response to media queries on the replacement of SAF staff cars, the following reply was issued:

"The Audi staff cars had been in service for more than 10 years, and were due for replacement. After extensive evaluation, we selected the Ford Mondeo for its reliability and cost-effectiveness. The replacement of more than 20 staff cars was completed in July 2014."
