In response to media queries on the SAF's mid-careerists recruitment efforts, the following reply was issued:
"The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) provides a purposeful and rewarding career to our servicemen and women. They can join us at different stages of their working life as we develop them into leaders of our nation’s defence. The SAF seeks to attract personal who wish to seek a mid-career switch as they bring with them valuable skills and knowledge into the organisation. The SAF is committed to providing our servicemen and women with challenging and fulfilling careers in the Officer, Warrant Officer or Military Expert Corps to realise their full potential."
