Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Forces Calls on Minister for Defence

Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Forces Brigadier General (BG) Pengiran Dato Paduka bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud calling on Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen.

Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), Brigadier General (BG) Pengiran Dato Paduka Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, called on Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen at the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) this morning. BG Pengiran Dato Aminan, who is in Singapore for his introductory visit from 5 to 7 March 2015, also called on Chief of Army Major-General Perry Lim and inspected a Guard of Honour earlier. As part of his visit, BG Pengiran Dato Aminan visited the Murai Urban Training Facility yesterday.

The visit by BG Pengiran Dato Aminan underscores the close and long-standing defence relationship between Singapore and Brunei. The Singapore Army and the RBLF interact regularly through a range of activities, including annual bilateral exercises, cross-attendance of courses, and professional exchanges. Such extensive interactions not only enhance the professionalism of the two armies, but also strengthen mutual understanding and camaraderie between the personnel of both armed forces.
