A Body and More Items Recovered by the Singapore Armed Forces

Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) Endurance-class Landing Ship Tank RSS Persistence recovered a body at 0846hrs on Sunday morning in the Java Sea. The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) transported the body by the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) Super Puma helicopter to Iskandar airport in Pangkalan Bun and has handed it over to the Indonesian authorities.
The Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV) on board RSN Bedok-class mine countermeasure vessel RSS Kallang and Submarine support and rescue vessel MV Swift Rescue were deployed today to search for aircraft debris.
Apart from the body, the Singapore Armed Forces continued to recover more aircraft equipment and debris today.
