Chief of Air Force of the Royal Australian Air Force Air Marshal (AM) Geoff Brown calling on Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen.
The Chief of Air Force of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Air Marshal (AM) Geoff Brown called on Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen at the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) this afternoon. AM Brown, who is in Singapore for his farewell visit from 26 to 27 April 2015, had earlier called on Chief of Defence Force Lieutenant-General Ng Chee Meng and Chief of Air Force Major-General Hoo Cher Mou, after inspecting a Guard of Honour.
AM Brown's visit underscores the close and long-standing defence relations between Singapore and Australia. The excellent defence ties between both the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) and the RAAF are evident through regular interactions across a broad spectrum of activities which includes professional exchanges, cross-attendance of courses and the RSAF's participation in Exercise Pitch Black, a multilateral exercise hosted by the RAAF. These interactions have enhanced the interoperability between the two air forces and the professional rapport and ties between their personnel.
