North/Northeast Zone
The North/Northeast Zone rededication ceremony at ITE College Central was officiated by Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen. This is the first of four combined rededication ceremonies and was organised by the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (ASME). This is the fifth time that ASME has organised the ceremony.
The Pledge Leader for the North/Northeast Zone, Lieutenant (LTA) (NS) Chang Jie Rui, Deputy Logistics Officer of 486th Battalion, Singapore Armoured Regiment, led 315 Operationally Ready National Servicemen (NSmen) from 121 participating companies for the recitation of the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) pledge. LTA (NS) Chang is a Procurement Executive at AMOS International (S) Pte Ltd.
East Zone
The East Zone rededication ceremony at SAFRA Toa Payoh was officiated by Minister, Prime Minister's Office, Mr Lim Swee Say. The ceremony was organised by Singapore Manufacturing Federation for the second time.
A total of 90 NSmen from 72 participating companies, led by Pledge Leader Major (NS) Matthias Goh from 9th Singapore Division, renewed their pledge of allegiance and loyalty to Singapore. MAJ (NS) Goh is the Deputy Director (Human Resources & Organisation Development) of SPRING Singapore.
CBD/South Zone
The CBD/South Zone rededication ceremony at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel was officiated by Minister for Manpower Mr Tan Chuan-Jin. The ceremony was organised by Langdon & Seah Singapore Pte Ltd and this was the second year that the company organised the event.
The Pledge Leader for the CBD/South Zone, Captain (CPT) (NS) Khoo Sze Boon, Operations Officer from General Staff (Operations), led 155 NSmen from 95 companies in the recitation of the SAF pledge. CPT (NS) Khoo is an Executive Director and Director (Human Resources) of Langdon & Seah Singapore Pte Ltd.
West Zone
The West Zone rededication ceremony at SAFRA Jurong was officiated by Second Minister for Defence Mr Chan Chun Sing. The ceremony was organised by Toll Global Logistics. A total of 36 companies participated in this ceremony.
The Pledge Leader for the West Zone, 2nd Sergeant (2SG) (NS) Seet Wee Thoe from Headquarters 56th Singapore Armoured Brigade, led 109 NSmen in the recitation of the SAF pledge. 2SG (NS) Seet is the General Manager, Retail, of Toll Global Logistics-Singapore.
