Full-time National Serviceman Succumbed to Injuries

Following our statement on Private (PTE) Mustaqim Bin Mohamed yesterday, Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) regrets to inform that the serviceman had succumbed to his injuries and passed away today.
In view of his contributions to the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), he has been promoted to the rank of Private posthumously.
The Police are investigating the incident. PTE Mustaqim’s family is appealing for eye witnesses.
MINDEF and the SAF extend our deepest condolences to the family of the late PTE Mustaqim. The SAF is assisting the family in their time of grief.
