Reply to Media Queries on the Full-Time National Serviceman Who Was Found Unconscious Along Loyang Way

In response to media queries on the full-time national serviceman who was found unconscious along Loyang Way, MINDEF issued the following reply: "Eighteen-year-old full-time national serviceman Recruit (REC) Mustaqim Bin Mohamed, an Administrative Support Assistant with the Specialist and Warrant Officer Institute, was admitted to Changi General Hospital on 25 Feb 2014 for severe head injury. He was found lying unconscious on the pavement along Loyang Way that afternoon after leaving Selarang Camp for a dispatch job. Police are investigating the incident and REC Mustaqim's family is appealing for eye witnesses. The Singapore Armed Forces is providing assistance to the family."
