The sea ensigns of the Republic of Singapore Navy and the Royal Malaysian Navy are placed side by side in this new logo to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Exercise Malapura. It signifies the close ties between both navies since the first Exercise Malapura was held in 1984, and our continued commitment to work together.
The white seaman rope encircling the logo symbolises the sincere relationship and strong bonds that both navies share. It also represents the unwavering spirit and combined resolve to tackle common security challenges.
The phrase "Building Friendship & Enhancing Cooperation" encapsulates the objectives of Exercise Malapura. The logo represents the rich bond and shared heritage that have been shaped by decades of cooperation between both navies.
