Reply to Media Queries on Death of RSAF Serviceman Involved Road Traffic Accident in Australia

In response to media queries on the death of a Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) serviceman who was stationed in Australia, MINDEF issued the following reply:
Military Expert 3 Ganeson S/O Thevarajah, an Air Force Engineer with the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) stationed at Oakey Training Centre, Australia, was involved in a road traffic accident along a highway in Southern Queensland on 24 Sep 2013 at about 0930hrs Queensland time (0730hrs Singapore time). ME3 Ganeson was on his way to work when the accident took place. He passed away at the scene of the accident. The RSAF is currently assisting the family. A Family Liaison Officer is providing assistance to the family.
MINDEF and the SAF extend our deepest condolences to the family of the late ME3 Ganeson.
