Minister for Defence expresses condolences to US Secretary for Defence and US Secretary of the Navy

Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen has written to the US Secretary of Defense and the US Secretary of the Navy to offer his deepest condolences. In his letters, Dr Ng said that he was deeply saddened to learn of the shooting at the Washington Navy Yard on 16 Sep 2013. Dr Ng also said that our thoughts and sympathies are with the US Department of Defense, the US Navy Family, and the people of the United States, particularly the bereaved families, during this difficult period.
