Dr Lim Wee Kiak: To ask the Minister for Defence what are the steps taken to prevent a recurrence of the unfortunate incident relating to the death of an RSAF serviceman after performing a tunnel crawl through an F-5 aircraft engine component during a 'welcome ceremony' at Paya Lebar Air Base on 24 April 2009.
Minister: After the incident, the Republic of Singapore Air Force has reviewed all the components of the welcoming activities and removed the crawl into the F-5 aircraft's engine intake from these activities since May 2009.
