Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Teo Chee Hean; Minister for Education and Second Minister for Defence Ng Eng Hen and Minister of State for Defence Koo Tsai Kee, spoke on issues pertaining to Singapore's defence and security at the Committee of Supply Debate 2011.
Mr Teo spoke about regional security, bilateral defence relations, the wider spectrum of operations the SAF undertakes today, and the strengthening of the key building blocks of the 3rd Generation SAF.
Dr Ng talked about the new and enhanced career schemes, professional development of SAF servicemen, NS policies, how the SAF ensures the psychological well-being of our servicemen and training safety.
Associate Professor Koo spoke about the implementation of the RECORD V recommendations and the National Service Recognition Award, Total Defence, and Commitment to Defence.
