Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Teo Chee Hean; Minister for Education and Second Minister for Defence Ng Eng Hen and Minister of State for Defence Koo Tsai Kee, spoke on issues pertaining to Singapore's defence and security at the Committee of Supply Debate 2010.
Mr Teo spoke about regional security, bilateral defence relations, the diverse and complex threats confronting us, the building blocks of the 3rd Generation SAF, and defence spending and investment in R&D.
Dr Ng talked about the new and enhanced career schemes, continuing education programmes for SAF servicemen, basic military training and NS policies.
Associate Professor Koo spoke about recognition for NSmen and Total Defence.
