Minister for Defence in Germany to Speak at the 58th Munich Security Conference

Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen is in Munich, Germany to attend the 58th Munich Security Conference (MSC) on 19 February 2022 (SG Time) and to have bilateral meetings with his foreign counterparts. This will be the tenth time that Dr Ng is attending the MSC.
Dr Ng will speak at the 13th Munich Young Leaders Roundtable on the topic "Charting a More Equitable Post-Pandemic Future", and at the MSC Maritime Security Roundtable on the topic "Bridging Troubled Waters – Rethinking Maritime Security Cooperation in the Indo-Pacific Region".
The MSC is an annual high-level security conference that brings together key foreign affairs and defence leaders from around the world. Conducted in Germany since 1963, the conference will be attended by heads of government, defence and foreign ministers, parliamentarians, military leaders and security experts.
