The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) holds its service personnel to high standards of discipline and integrity, and expects them to abide by the law. Those who commit offences will be dealt with in accordance with the law.

First Sergeant Poh Jun Kiat Jared has been convicted of offences under Section 506 (first limb) and Section 292(1) (a) of the Penal Code. He is currently suspended from duties. The Ministry of Defence and the SAF have initiated the process to discharge him from service.
