Minister for Defence to attend 59th Munich Security Conference in Germany

Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen is in Munich, Germany from 17 to 19 February 2023 (Singapore Time) to attend the 59th Munich Security Conference (MSC). This will be the 11th time that Dr Ng is attending the MSC.
While in Munich, Dr Ng will speak at the MSC Maritime Security Roundtable, and the 14th Munich Young Leaders Roundtable. During his visit, Dr Ng will also have bilateral meetings with his foreign counterparts.
First held in 1963, the MSC is an annual high-level security conference that brings together key foreign affairs and defence leaders from around the world, including heads of government, defence and foreign ministers, parliamentarians, military leaders and security experts.
