Minister for Defence to visit Bangkok for the ADMM Retreat and 6th ADMM-Plus

Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen will be in Bangkok, Thailand from 16 to 18 November for the ASEAN Defence Ministers' Meeting (ADMM) Retreat and 6th ADMM-Plus.

As part of his programme, Dr Ng will attend the ADMM Retreat with ASEAN defence ministers and 6th ADMM-Plus meeting with ministers from ASEAN and Australia, China, India, Japan, New Zealand, the Republic of Korea, Russia and the United States. Dr Ng will also attend three Informal Meetings – the ASEAN-China Defence Ministers' Informal Meeting, the ASEAN-Japan Defence Ministers' Informal Meeting and the ASEAN-US Defence Ministers' Informal Meeting. Dr Ng will also have bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the ADMM Retreat and 6th ADMM-Plus.

Dr Ng will be accompanied by Permanent Secretary for Defence Mr Chan Yeng Kit and other MINDEF/SAF officials.
