Dr Ng to Visit India for Defence Ministers' Dialogue and 25th Anniversary of SIMBEX

Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen will visit Visakhapatnam, India from 18 to 21 November 2018.
On 19 November, Dr Ng will visit Port Blair to be briefed on the naval facilities. On 20 November, Dr Ng and Indian Minister of Defence Nirmala Sitharaman will visit the Singapore-India Maritime Bilateral Exercise (SIMBEX), which is commemorating its 25th anniversary this year. They will witness a combined missile firing by the Republic of Singapore Navy and Indian Navy in the Bay of Bengal. Thereafter, Dr Ng and Ms Sitharaman will co-chair the third India-Singapore Defence Ministers' Dialogue.
Dr Ng will be accompanied by Chief of Navy Rear-Admiral Lew Chuen Hong, Deputy Secretary (Policy) Mr Teo Eng Dih, and other MINDEF/SAF officials.
