Minister for Defence in Germany for the 53rd Munich Security Conference

Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen will be in Germany from 17 to 19 February 2017 to attend the 53rd Munich Security Conference (MSC). This will be the sixth time that Dr Ng is attending the MSC.
Dr Ng will speak at the conference on 19 Feb 2017 (Singapore time) on the topic "Pacific No More? Security in East Asia and the Korean Peninsula", as well as at the 9th Munich Young Leaders Round Table on 18 Feb 2017 (Singapore time). He will also have bilateral meetings with his foreign counterparts.
Conducted annually in Germany since 1963, the MSC is a high-level security conference that brings together key foreign affairs and defence leaders from around the world. This year's conference will be attended by heads of government, defence and foreign ministers, parliamentarians, military leaders and security experts.
