The Chief of Staff of Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) Air Chief Marshal (ACM) Mohamad Tonny Harjono called on Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen this morning. During their meeting, Dr Ng and ACM Tonny reaffirmed the close and long-standing relationship between the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) and the TNI AU, and discussed ongoing efforts to enhance cooperation between the RSAF and TNI AU.
ACM Tonny, who is in Singapore from 14 to 15 May 2024 for his introductory visit, also called on Chief of Defence Force Vice Admiral Aaron Beng and Chief of Air Force Brigadier-General Kelvin Fan, and inspected a Guard of Honour at the Ministry of Defence.
The RSAF and TNI AU cooperate and interact regularly through the conduct of exercises such as Exercise Elang Indopura, high-level visits, professional exchanges and cross-attendance of professional courses. These regular interactions have enhanced the close ties and mutual understanding between the personnel of both air forces.

ACM Tonny inspected the Guard of Honour at MINDEF earlier today.
