Minister for Defence to Visit the United States and Speak at the Aspen Security Forum

Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen will make an official visit to the United States from 15 to 18 Jul 2024 (Singapore Time).

During his visit, Dr Ng will meet his counterpart, the US Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III in Washington D.C. on 15 July 2024 (16 July 2024, Singapore time). Dr Ng will also speak at the opening night of the 2024 Aspen Security Forum in Aspen, Colorado on 16 July 2024 (17 July 2024, Singapore time).

The Aspen Security Forum is a biannual security and foreign policy conference that brings together distinguished leaders and key players in the defence community. The Forum has been convened annually in Colorado since 2010. Dr Ng’s visit to the US underscores the excellent and long-standing defence relations between Singapore and the United States.
